Etchings and Drypoints by Frank W. Benson Complete 5 volume set of Adam Paff's catalogue of the intaglio prints by Frank Benson. Every page in place, held by original binding. Vols 1 - 4 are each number 205 of that edition. Volume 5 is number 361. Covers show some minor frayed corners consistent with age. Inside. the books appear to be seldom, if ever, opened. $6250.00

"Turkey Blind" by A. L. Ripley This is a bridge between todays fanatical hunters with their electronic sights and $2.50 turkey loads and the turkey hunters of the past. In the image the line is clearly drawn between the big Tom standing proud and in the open and the hunters in the shadows. Excellent condition with vibrant colors - a wonderful print. "Turkey Drive" by A.L. Ripley We are pleased to announce an addition to our Ripley prints, "Turkey Drive" 1966 by Frost & Reed Bristol and London, England and The Sportsman's Gallery, New York. This is one hunter, a guide sitting with the two dogs. The hunter is shooting driven turkeys while flying over a tidal marsh. I am sure this takes place either in Georgia or the Carolinas. We just acquired this print, as well as "Mallards Coming In" and "End of the Grouse Season". All are in excellent condition - vibrant and perfect - ready for your tasteful matting and framing. $2300.00
"Grouse in a Pine Bough" by A.L. Ripley Etching measures 9" x 12" - there is no game bird lovelier than the grouse and this image says it all. "Duck Hunter" Etching by A.L. Ripley Image measures 10 1/2" x 8" - The hunter with his dog sitting and waiting for daylight and morning flight. This is one of many new Ripley etchings we have recently acquired. Image is clean and clear, the hunter w/ his dog and 2 decoys, and six decoys in the marsh. A. Lassell Ripley Game Bird Knife Set The Game Bird Knife Set, ebony black handles are overlaid with pure silver, in a game bird design. The top of the leather case is decorated with a copy of a Ripley etching. This etching is called "The Duck Blind" - which is the same concept as a Ripley print listed on our web site. The knife set was made in the 1950's, set includes all documentation and paperwork. The detail and presentation of the knife set, which includes a carving set, plus 6 knives, are exquisite. $750.00

"Cock Pheasant" Etching by Ripley 12" x 9" pristine and clear image of the Cock Pheasant. This is one of 10 etchings recently acquired to add to our collection. Ripley was among the gunners who eagerly hunted the pheasant which had been introduced from Asia. This etching is signed lower right and titled lower left. A picture of a bird brashly jumping and with a typical arrogance flying off over the horizon, clearly missed by the hunter. Unframed and perfect! $1,800
"Mallards Coming In" by A.L. Ripley Published 1963 Frost & Reed of Bristol and London, England. Signed lower right. It is cold! But that doesn't slow the dog down or discourage the ducks. This image is full of action - with the hidden boat, one duck down, 3 more coming in, and the one hunter seems to have a shell left. The other hunter is ... we're not sure. We love this image and it would be complete with new mat and frame. $2,300.00

Good Luck & Bad Luck by Frost These are from a set of six - which we have the other four: Ordered Off, Gun Shy, We've Got Them, and Smoking Them Out. By A.B Frost - these prints are a prime example of Frost's illustrating a story. Frost is an illustrator first and artist second. There are two small imperfection areas on Bad Luck - lower left stain and a worn area upper center. Good Luck a very small fray upper center. Can send more photos but overall clear and good images. "October Woodcock Shooting" by A.B. Frost Published by Derrydale Press, New York. Professionally cleaned, double mat and framed. This image is THE classic image of woodcock shooting by Frost. The Derrydale painted the details and Frost died before it was finished. John Frost (brother) then had it perfected and published it in 1933. $4,550.00
